Let Symptoms Be Your Guide
Symptoms often feel like an inconvenience—something we wish would go away. But what if, instead of trying to fight or silence them, we listened and learned from them? What if symptoms were not enemies but guides or clues; kinda like "North, South, East, West" on a compass... What if your symptoms are telling you where you are on your healing journey. This principle really came alive during a recent session with one of my clients (let's call her Lola), and her reflections afterward literally moved me to tears!
Lola had a very shocking diagnosis of ductal breast cancer nearly a year ago. After our initial 90-minute session, it was clear to me—based on her story and current symptom of occasional zinging pain, that her "Special Biological Program" was nearly complete. This zinging pain she was experiencing was a sign of the "Healing Phase B~scarification phase." The German New Medicine perspective that I teach, resonated with her deeply, but she needed support to overcome her lingering fear of "the C word." We strategically worked together over 30 days, going deeper into GNM’s understanding of breast cancer, which again reinforced her sense of clarity. However, the fear lingered: “Is it really gone? Will it come back? "why are my friends dying” These questions haunted her, and were triggered out of the blue by something as simple as a text message or a memory, bringing moments of panic. We had several emergency sessions to calm her fears and Lola made incredible progress and eventually felt confident enough to put her final session on hold, ready to embrace life again.
After many months without contact, Lola scheduled a follow-up session. I assumed she had been thriving and might even be calling to share some good news, but the moment I saw her face, my heart sank.
“Oh no, Lola, what happened?”
With tears streaming down her face, she explained that she had been doing well but had decided to get a GNM-style CT scan of the brain for final confirmation that her ductal program was truly over. She felt calm and excited, but during a pre-meeting with another GNM coach, a shocking comment caught her off guard. This unexpected remark, combined with the recent loss of three friends who had shared her diagnosis, reignited Lola’s doubt and sent her spiraling back into fear and sleepless nights.
During our session, we reframed that shocking experience, and I reviewed with her again the proof in her own symptoms (now, very occasional zinging pain) that from the GNM/GHk perspective, this special biological program was nearly complete.
So during the session, I asked her:
"What is your current data? What are your current symptoms and how is your life looking right now?"
With each prompt, she responded:
☑️ I have a little occasional but mild 'zinging pain.'
☑️ I'm sleeping well, eating what I want, and I love my family!
☑️ We recently traveled for two weeks and had the most incredible time.
☑️ I love my job and even added a new coaching program.
I explained that the zinging pain was proof that the finish line was close by still but there are some reminders, something is interrupting the completion. Knowing Lolas fear of "is it gone and will it come back?!" I offered that as a possible reason.
"We can create what i call a 'hiccup in healing. Many times it's the fear of the symptoms or simply the diagnosis.
Then, I asked her:
"So my dear Lola...Where is the problem? Where is the Danger?"
We sat in silence for a moment, and then I saw it in her face—SHE GOT IT!
Fear of 'what could be' was the danger... but her symptom was the proof of where she really was in her healing Phase.
By the end of our hour together, she had relaxed and left with a plan and a confident smile. The next morning, I received this beautiful message from her:
"Had the most amazing night of sleep—like a baby!!! Didn’t even wake before my alarm."
There’s something magical about a peaceful night's sleep after a period of stress and discomfort. It’s like the body’s way of whispering, "You are safe—rest!"
She went on to say:
"I really 'got' what you’ve been trying to tell me since November. Apparently, I’ve had to live it to get it."
For months, I had been guiding her to understand that her symptoms were a direct reflection of her journey—a journey specific to her, not to anyone else. This is a principle I taught my kids, and would tell her frequently: "We don't compare ourselves to others...You do you!" "Lola" your story, your symptoms, your psyche are so unique and can not be compared to another human being. While we can intellectually understand this concept, sometimes it takes lived experience to truly "get it".
This process of checking in with your symptoms with the GNM knowledge will help you prove where you are in the healing journey. This brings realizations that sometimes, the "problem" may no longer exist, but the mind hasn't caught up to that reality yet.
"I get that I didn’t have a massive healing process. My body followed the exact GNM progression of ductal according to Hamer’s work. I’ve been in a bit of a hanging healing as I’ve allowed my thoughts to be pulled by other’s journeys. But that is their journey~their story. Not mine."
Lola, a coach to entrepreneurs, daily leading and confidently sharing her wisdom, recognized that she, too, had the power to write her own story. She acknowledged:
"I am writing my story right now. And I have an amazing life that I can decide to live and enjoy."
The power in these words is undeniable. She realized that healing wasn’t something she had to wait for—it was already happening. By letting go of the narratives of others, she embraced her own story and moved forward in her physical healing process.

This client’s journey is a reminder for all of us: "Let your symptoms be your guide." They are not random or meaningless. They are part of the special biological programs that our bodies are running, trying to help us in times of unexpected events! Always showing us exactly what we need to address in our lives.
From this new knowledge, if you are in a stress phase, for example, you will have cold hands, constant thoughts about a problem, a low appetite, and trouble getting back to sleep after waking. These symptoms are not a nuisance—they are your guide, telling you, "You have a problem, and I’m giving you these symptoms to help you solve it." In these times, it’s essential to do the work of practically resolving your life’s challenges.
On the other hand, if you have symptoms like inflammation, itching, twitches, coughs, or sneezes, these are signs that healing is already underway—something in your life just got better! Start making connections and trust your body.
"I can let the story be complete now. I can be in joy. I can move on from what I thought my story was to a new story of showing exactly how a GNM ductal program can run and complete."
That "hic-up" Lola had been stuck in what we call a “hanging healing,” a phase where healing is interrupted by what we call a "track or emotional trigger." In my 10 years of coaching, I’ve found that the fear of "Oh no, it's going to come back" is often the feeling behind chronic issues.
Her message concluded with a simple yet profound request:
"I would love some continued support as I complete this journey. I’ll book as we go."
This client’s journey is a reminder for all of us: "Let your symptoms be your guide." They are not random or meaningless. They are part of the Special Biological Programs of Nature; that our bodies are designed perfectly, showing us exactly what we need to address and heal.
Take a look at the 5th Biological Law...
Every so-called disease is part of a Significant Biological Special Program of Nature
created to assist an organism (humans and animals alike) during unexpected distress.
This is how all life forms function. This is a new course in biology.
When we listen, when we stop comparing ourselves to others and start to trust. We realize that healing is not an outside-in process. It’s an inside-out journey, one that’s entirely unique to each of us.
As we move through our own journeys, remember this: "Your story is yours alone." Write it well. Trust your body. Let your symptoms guide you, and with that trust, watch how you can complete your own beautiful healing process to the finish line.

Our bodies know exactly how to heal, and the process of trusting and understanding them is crucial to living a vibrant, adventurous life. This is where the Up Your Vibe Wisdom Wheel comes in—a tool I created to help guide you through each area of your life, from trusting your body to mastering self-care, making conscious decisions, having that critical support system and to me most importantly is understanding and your Soul's Journey.
By aligning with these key areas, you can elevate your life and truly Up Your Vibe. The Wisdom Wheel reminds us that healing isn’t just about resolving symptoms—it’s about thriving in all aspects of life.
